WHAT TO EXPECT FOR KEIKI SAILING

Ecology lesson, Watershed and coastal impacts to the environment, Coral reef health, Coral and fish relationship.​

Marine biology lesson, Whales migration, food and breeding.​
​

Career paths discussion, Boat captain, Marine related STEM, Boat builders, Sail makers, Brokers, harbor master.

Sailing lesson, Wind direction/compass headings, basic terminology, basic line handling, teamwork and leadership

Exploring the reef, identify coral and fish with a guide.
​​

BYO lunch time while tied to a mooring and free swimming session.
​​

All keiki are required to participate on deck while sailing or while lessons are in session.

No cell phones on deck

After docking we will have a group debrief and wash the boat together before leaving.

Gate 1, then turn left. Go straight all the way, then left into Gate 12, go until you reach the boats. Lots of parking available. Pua sailboat is the 2nd boat in.
